Kansas at Oklahoma on Saturday

The Associated Press - October 28, 2016 9:21 am

Oklahoma, having won four straight games after starting out 1-2, can’t afford a slip-up against lowly Kansas Saturday.

The Jayhawks have another chance to snap some miserable losing streaks, including a 16-game skid in Big 12 games, a 33-game losing streak in Big 12 road games and a 38-game overall road losing streak – 41 if you also count neutral-site contests.

Oklahoma’s potent offense, which put up 854 yards last week against Texas Tech, against Kansas’ defense. The Jayhawks allow 36.9 points per game (116th among 128 FBS schools), 433.0 yards per game (89th in the country) and 231.1 passing yards per game (ranking 72nd).

It will be a good day if the Jayhawks manage to limit Oklahoma to their season averages.
