Juveniles arrested on stolen vehicle, drug counts

At 9 p.m. Saturday, Kay County deputies located a car near the intersection of 14th and Lake Road in Ponca City that was a reported stolen from Winfield, Kansas, on Jan. 3.

Two juvenile males were taken into custody for possession of a stolen vehicle, which was a white 2010 Nissan 4 door, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Sgt. Shannon Wathor of the Kay County Sheriff’s Office.

Both juveniles were transported to juvenile detention centers to await court appearances.

Deputies were assisted by Ponca City Police, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the District 8 Drug task force.
