July Full Moon Concert in Tonkawa Features Enid Band

Ponca City Now - June 27, 2023 6:38 am

Enjoy live music under the stars with Enid-based Dually Noted Unplugged for the Full Moon Concert on Monday, July 3 in Tonkawa Centennial Park, 301 East Grand, Tonkawa, OK.

Vocalists Cathy Nulph and Kristi Brown and guitarist Kelly Killam will perform a mix of 70s and 80s covers plus a smidge of country.

Dually Noted Unplugged is an acoustic trio that performs independently from Dually Noted, a seven-member band started by Nulph and Brown. The women have been singing their whole lives and Kristi is also a former Miss Northern Oklahoma College and a Roustabout. Killam plays for his church, Emmanuel Enid, and is also an original member of Dually Noted.

The family-friendly concert begins at 7:30 pm in the Heart in the Park Pavilion and is free to all.

The public is invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets and pets on leashes are welcome. Restrooms are located across the street in the Santa Fe Depot.

Concert goers may walk the world’s only heart-shaped labyrinth, and the evening concludes with the traditional group howl at the full moon. North Central Oklahoma Arts Council and Heart in the Park Committee of the Tonkawa Historical Society sponsor the free monthly concerts throughout the summer season on the night of the full moon. Next month’s Full Moon Concert is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1.
