LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) – Jayhawks coach David Beaty has stripped his captains of their status after the trio refused to shake the hand of Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield last week.

The coin-toss slight began a game full of vitriol. Mayfield also lost his captaincy after he grabbed his crotch and cursed at the Jayhawks’ bench during the game.
