Humane Society’s Wish List
Ponca City Now - December 7, 2015 1:12 pm
The North Pole forwarded us a wish list from the Ponca City Humane Society to help with the care of animals at the shelter at 900 West Prospect.
The items which are needed all the time include:
Paper towels — always needed and always in low supply.
Cat Litter. The PCHuS goes through 50 pounds a day. Director Patricia Amador said Tractor Supply has the cheapest $4.50 per 40 pound bag
Bleach (Always in need and always low)
Laundry detergent
Kitten Chow
Pro Plan Dog Food (Don’t know how to ask for this higher brand, don’t want to offend the people who donate Dog Chow, etc.
Trash Bags (55 Gallons please)
Canned cat food (always low)
Litter Boxes (we run low on these when we have a lot of cats)
Dawn Dish Soap (low right now but always need)
Kitchen Scrubbers
Those are the things we can use all the time and will cut on monetary donation use.
We can always take gift cards as well. For gas or just supplies.
We can also have people donate specifically to the vets if that makes them feel better. Don’t know if that is what they want to do but North Central Vet, Dr. Lisa Good, and Dr. Judy Roberds are our biggest accounts. 5k with each one of them. I know, YIKES!
