Homecoming is Friday in Blackwell

It’s Homecoming week in Blackwell and the Blackwell Maroons will be hosting Oklahoma Christian on Friday night.

The school has also announced the return of a couple of homecoming traditions: Morning Coffee at the high school on Friday morning…and the Blackwell Public School Foundation’s chicken and noodle lunch at the Kay Room on Doolin Avenue.

Lunch will begin at 11:00 am, tickets are just $10 each and are on sale at Blackwell banks, schools and the Blackwell Area Chamber of Commerce.

No delivery orders but to go orders can be made.

The Blackwell Quarterback Club tailgating fundraiser dinner will be held Friday evening at Wheeler-Huston Field before the Blackwell Maroon vs OCS Saints football game.

The tailgate starts at 5:45 pm and is open to the public.

Choose either a smoked ham sandwich meal or a pulled pork sandwich meal for just $8.00 each.
