Hallow-Marine kicks off on Tuesday, October 25, at the Oklahoma Aquarium where kids can trick-or-treat with sea creatures.

A pirate ship is one of many attractions kids can see at HallowMarine along with a chance to trick-or-treat with sea creatures. It’s the 19th year for the event providing an indoor, safe, and warm place for Halloween fun. Kids can come dressed up to collect candy, jump on a new bounce house, or ride the new carousel.

The aquatic-themed merry-go-round officially opens next Thursday, November 3, but people can experience the ride during HallowMarine. Visitors will also get a chance to see their favorite underwater animals at night as they walk around the exhibits.

Director of Development and Research Dr. Ann Money says over the next week, nearly 7,000 people are expected to visit the aquarium.

“Kiddos can come in, they can get a ton of candy, they can have a bunch of fun and see 10,000 animals. So not only are they having a ton of fun, but they’re also going to get to learn something,” Money said.

The event is each evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m. from Tuesday, October 25 through Halloween on Monday, October 31.

There’s also a costume contest, guests can enter by posting #HallowMarine 2022 on social media. Winners will get free admission to the aquarium.
