Governor Stitt criticizes verdict in Trump case, claims justice system was weaponized

KOKH - May 31, 2024 5:58 am

Governor Kevin Stitt released a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter after the jury found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 counts in the hush money case.

Stitt said, “This is a weaponization of our justice system.”

He went on to say in the tweet that it disrespects the Office of the President and that he’s glad Trump will appeal and hopes another judge “brings some sense to the matter”.
