OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Gov. Mary Fallin has ordered all United States and Oklahoma flags on state property to be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S.
The flags are to be flown at half-staff from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday.
Fallin issued a statement saying that 9-11 is a day to "mourn and remember" the victims of the attacks, to "keep in mind our troops who serve in our nations’ military" and to remember the first responders who acted in response to the attacks.
