Goblins on Grand scheduled for Oct. 26

Ponca City Main Street’s Goblins on Grand event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26.

This year’s location for the street carnival has expanded and will be on Grand Avenue from Sixth Street to Third Street.

The event is planned for children age 12 and younger.

This year, food trucks will be located on Fourth Street by the Veterans’ Plaza.

Wristbands, which serve as entry tickets, are $2 per child. All bands will include a trick-or-treat bag for candy and prizes. Children may also bring their own bags if they choose. The $2 cost will help pay event expenses.

Wristbands can be purchased in advance at:

  • Eastman National Bank

  • First National Bank of Oklahoma

  • Ponca City Chamber of Commerce

  • RCB Bank

  • Cherokee Strip Credit Union

  • City National Bank

  • Whimsy

  • Village Screen Print

  • Liles & Company

Wristbands can also be purchased at the event upon entry.

Wristbands will also be sold :

  • Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 2 to 6 p.m. and

  • Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 2 to 6 p.m.

at the Veterans’ Plaza! This will be a drive-through style event and volunteers will run them out to your car! Cost is still $2 per band, so please have exact change!

Wristband sales locations – night of the event:

  • Sixth Street and Grand – at the event entrance

  • Third Street and Grand – at the event entrance

There will be four or five food trucks and vendors, as well as concessions and a glow booth on site with items available for purchase.

The carnival provides a safe Halloween with game booths, bounce houses, and the merchants on Grand passing out candy like the good old days!

The Ponca City Noon Lions will be doing children’s vision screenings in their brand new screening trailer, which will be lined up on Grand with the rest of the booths.

This is a pet free and smoke free event.

The carnival games will end precisely at 7:30 p.m. Please plan accordingly if you wish to take advantage of all available games.
