Frontier School plans chili cookoff and auction

The 18th Annual Chili CookOff & Auction sponsored by Frontier Booster Club is Saturday, October 17.

The Chili CookOff will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m., with an auction to follow!

To get to the Frontier School Cafeteria, go West on State Highway 15 from U.S. Highway 177, or East on S.H. 15 from U.S. Highway 77 to Frontier School. In the parking lot, turn right and follow your nose!

You will get a chance to eat some of Oklahoma’s best chili and then cast your vote for the “Best in the West.”

To enter the chili contest, call (580) 761-5428 and leave a message for Rhonda by noon on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. Prizes for the best cookers are 1st $50, 2nd $35, 3rd $25 and $15 will be awarded for the best table decoration.

An auction of donated and handmade items will be on hand for those with an eye for a bargain or those that enjoy outbidding even the toughest competitors. To donate an item, please bring it to the Frontier Ag room in care of Randy Henderson. Donations accepted. ALL PROCEEDS WILL HELP SUPPORT THE FRONTIER FFA AND 4H MEMBERS.
