Free movie plus food truck equals great evening!

If you are a fan of Surf’s Up, a local Ponca City food truck, then you are in luck!

Surf’s Up is the exclusive concessions for the Movie on the Green on Thursday, Oct. 5. The truck will have a Hawaiian walking taco, tropical flavored goodies and popcorn. 

The movie of the evening is “Moana,” and will be shown at the City Center Garden at Fifth Street and Central Avenue.  Dr. Karl Rambo of  the University of Oklahoma will give an introduction to Polynesian culture, or “So that’s what Moana means!”

Bring your lawn chair or blankets to enjoy the evening under the stars. The food truck will be open at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at 6:30 p.m.

This movie is presented by the BisonBison Film Festival and is funded in part by the Oklahoma Humanities Council; the National Endowment for the Humanities; and the Ponca City Arts and Humanities Council.
