Free Medical Clinic In Blackwell

Ponca City Now - September 24, 2013 10:18 am

Tonight Blackwell will host its first free medical clinic.

Beverly Wooderson, the clinics director said there is a need for this.

“There are so many families who are not insured and they make a little bit too much money to get on Medicaid and they do not have medicare yet, so they are left without many options,” Wooderson said.

Right now doctors are only taking patients by appointments and the clinic is only open one Tuesday a month.

However, Wooderson said there may come a time where they take walk-ins and are open once a week.

You do not have to bring any paperwork, just your drivers license.

They are open to the Blackwell, Tonkawa, Braman, Deer Creek and Nardin communities.

To make an appointment call 580-262-9192
