Free kids’ fishing clinic June 6

A free fishing clinic will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. June 6 at the Marland Mansion pond.

The clinic is for youth age 15 and younger. It’s free; however, all participants must be pre-registered. This is a catch-and-release event and only live bait may be used.

Kids will have the chance to learn how to cast, tie knots, identify fish and enjoy fishing.
