STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – Four Oklahoma State University agribusiness students will compete in a national food industry competition in 2015.

Meagan Osborn, Dillon Rapp, Meagan Rhodes and Lane Winter will compete in the Food Industry University Student Case Study Competition during the National Grocers Association’s annual convention in Las Vegas in February.

Allen Mills, president and CEO of Reasor’s Foods headquartered in Tahlequah, and Ron Edgmon, president and CEO of the Oklahoma Grocers Association in Oklahoma City, will sponsor two of the students, while the NGA will pay for the additional two students.

The NGA initiated the Food Industry University Coalition in 2004 to introduce college students to the many opportunities available in the retail grocery store industry. Each year, the NGA holds a competition for members on a specific topic in the industry.
