Four local properties added to National Register of Historic Places

Four properties in Kay County have been added to the National Register of Historic Places. They include:

  • 101 Rodeo Arena, 2600 North Ash St.,
  • Attucks Community Center,1001 South 12th St.,
  • McGraw, James J., House, 400 North 4th St.,
  • Roosevelt Elementary School, 815 East Highland Ave.

The four properties were nominated for the honor by the Ponca City Historic Preservation Advisory Panel. They were added to the register on Dec. 4.
