Former Po-Hi Graduate and Olympic Gold Medalist Visits High School and Shares His Medal

Ponca City Senior High School had the honor of a visit from 1955 Po-Hi graduate Shelby Wilson.

Wilson won the 1960 Olympic Gold Medal in Rome in the freestyle lightweight division.

He loaned his gold medal to be displayed for several days in the school. It will be displayed during all three lunch periods in a trophy case in the lower commons.

The

graduate also visited Po-Hi wrestling practice while he was here.
