First Lady Jill Biden To Visit Oklahoma This Week

The Office of the First Lady confirmed on Tuesday that Jill Biden will travel to Oklahoma in December.

The White House said that the First Lady and U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland will visit the Cherokee Immersion School in Tahlequah on Friday, December 3rd, to highlight the importance of native language preservation.

The First Lady will also travel to Philadelphia on that day to encourage parents to vaccinate kids ages 5 to 11.

Advisory: First Lady Jill Biden to Travel to Pennsylvania and Oklahoma

On Friday, December 3rd, First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

In Philadelphia, PA, the First Lady will continue a nationwide effort urging parents and guardians to vaccinate kids ages 5-11 and encourage families to get booster shots. The First Lady will visit a pediatric COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Additional details to follow.

In Tahlequah, OK, the First Lady and U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland will visit the Cherokee Immersion School in the Cherokee Nation and highlight the importance of native language preservation. Additional details to follow.
