Fire Department to purchase new pumper truck

The Ponca City Board of Commissioners approved the purchase of a Triple Combination Pumper Apparatus from Route 66 Emergency Equipment of Wagner, Oklahoma.

Fire Chief Butch Herring said the truck carries a fire pump, hose and water. He said the company said the vehicle would be delivered in nine months.

Funds for the for $446,517 truck come from the department’s capital budget for 2019-20.
