Fire Department responds to house blaze

Ponca City Now - January 9, 2015 10:11 am

Ponca City Fire Department responded to a fire in the 100 block of South Lake at 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Fire Chief Butch Herring said the north end of the house was involved and the fire breached through a window on north side. Firefighters responded with an interior attack, Herring said.

Herring said the house was unoccupied, according to the shift commander. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
