Exploration Destination to open Saturday, Nov. 26

Exploration Destination, a new children’s museum in Ponca City, will have its grand opening at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26.

Exploration Destination is a 12,000 square foot facility at 3401 North Union. It is custom made for children and their families. It includes four party rooms, a large play city with  many activities and themed rooms with many activities.

The museum was founded by Aaron and Katherine Neale, who said they believe in allowing kids to actively play with their environments leading them to learn how things work.

“Kids should have fun while learning new things,” Aaron Neale said. “Educational play in a safe and fun environment is our goal.”

Cost is $8 for a day pass (children under 1 are admitted free.) A one-year membership is $50 and a four-person family membership is $169 a year. A six-person family membership is $219 a year.
