McALESTER, Okla. (AP) – A suspected killer from Lawton has escaped a state prison in McAlester.

Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokesman Jerry Massie says 28-year-old Robert Long was missing at the 10 p.m. Tuesday inmate count at the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center.

Massie said yesterday that Long was still at large.
