Enid Police Arrest Three ‘Self-Proclaimed’ Gang Members, Seven Other Juveniles at Hotel

The Enid Police Department (EPD) arrested 10 juveniles and one adult related to incidents of reckless conduct with a firearm and minors in possession of firearms on Friday, January 26.

EPD reported that three male juveniles aged 14 to 16, who are ‘self-proclaimed gang members’, were identified in connection to the incidents that date back to October of 2023.

Officials obtained search warrants and executed the warrants at three Enid residences at around 6:30 A.M. on Friday.

A fourth search warrant was also executed at the Ramada by Wyndham in Enid, where the three ‘self-proclaimed gang members’ were arrested on two additional complaints of a minor in possession of a firearm, three counts of reckless conduct with a firearm, possession of marijuana, and for visiting a disorderly house.

One of the three juvenile males was also charged with assault and battery of a police officer along with resisting arrest.

One of the juvenile males was taken to the Garfield County Juvenile Detention Facility, and the other two were taken to different detention centers.

In addition to the arrests of the three juvenile males, police also arrested an additional seven minors at the Ramada by Wyndham.

EPD reported that the additional minors were made up of four males and three females, aged 14 to 17.

The additional minors were arrested, booked into the Community Intervention Center at the Enid Police Department, and later released to a parent or guardian.

All were charged with visiting a disorderly house, and one minor was also charged with attempting to escape from custody.

21-year-old Alejandro Rojo was also arrested at the Ramada by Wyndham and booked into the Garfield County Detention Facility on complaints of contributing to the delinquency of minors and maintaining a disorderly house.
