Elm Street reconstruction project to start Monday

Big Star Services, LLC has entered a contract with the City of Ponca City to reconstruct the pavement and replace the water lines on Elm Street from Ponca Avenue to 75 feet north of Oklahoma Avenue.

The project is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 27.  During the project, Elm Street from Ponca Avenue to 75 feet north of Oklahoma Avenue will be closed to all traffic.  The total construction time for the work is estimated to be 75 calendar days.  Vehicles will not be permitted in the work area, and residents will need to find alternate parking.  Signing and barricades will be in place informing motorists of the construction.
