Ponca City Public School elementary students were treated to special guests for Read Across America week.

Ponca City High School biology teacher Zach Murray took his Pre-AP Biology students to the elementary schools and Washington Prekindergarten Center to read science books to every class.

“I wanted the elementary students to get additional exposure to science and provide my students with an opportunity for science outreach,” Murray said.

Each class was read two books: “Never Stop Wondering,” about the wonder of science, and a book that was specific for the grade level.
