With a great respect for our students and traditions, efforts are being made to plan an elegant evening for Po-Hi junior and senior students. Creativity and flexibility will be applied to the prom, due to the ever-challenging circumstances of the pandemic. Priorities in planning will be placed on student safety.

The initial plans include a Grand March at Sullins Stadium, on May 15, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. The event will be live-streamed. Participants will be provided a limited number of vouchers for spectators. After the conclusion of the Grand March, spectators will be asked to leave. The outdoor event will continue for students at Sullins Stadium until approximately 9:30pm. Following the elegant evening at Sullins Stadium, there will be a community/parent led after-prom at a different location.

PCPS, CDC, and Health Department COVID-19 safety guidelines at the school event will include taking temperatures, social distancing, face-coverings, and spectator restrictions.

In the event of inclement weather, the elegant evening for juniors and seniors will be moved into Robson Fieldhouse.
