East Middle School incident resulted in lock down, all back to normal now.

The Ponca City Police Department detained an adult male on the north side of East Middle School at approximately 2:15 p.m. No weapons were involved and the adult male did not attempt to enter the school. Everyone at the facility is safe. Out of an abundance of caution, EMS was locked down temporarily and athletic students were held.
A concerned citizen contacted PCPD to report the situation at East but mistakenly called the school West Middle School.
All school sites are clear and everyone is safe.
