Earthquake recorded near Yale

At 9:33 this morning the U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.7 magnitude earthquake 14 kilometers (about 8.7 miles) west of Yale, Oklahoma, in north central Oklahoma.

Yale is located in Payne County.
