Earthquake overnight in Northern Oklahoma

Ponca City Now - November 19, 2015 6:51 am

A 4.7 magnitude earthquake at 1:42 am was felt throughout northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas.

The quake was centered about 8 miles southwest of Cherokee, and was felt as far away as Kansas City. There were no immediate reports of damage.

Two other earthquakes were reported within a few hours, a 3.1 and a 3.7, also centered near Cherokee.
