Early Voting Begins Today

Mike Seals - April 1, 2021 10:07 am

Early voting begins today for the April 6 Board of Education General Election, statutory municipal elections, and special elections – including an election in Senator District 22.

Early voting is available Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Due to a race in Senator District 22, voters in this district will also have early voting on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. No excuse is needed to cast an early ballot.

While seventy-three (73) counties have elections, not everyone in every precinct will have an election. Voters should log into the OK Voter Portal to view a sample ballot and find their early voting location, before heading out to vote.

To log into the portal, you will need only your name (as it appears on your registration) and your date of birth. You do not need to set up an account or password. If you have a sample ballot available in the portal, you have an election.

The complete election list, as well as early voting locations, dates, and hours are available on the Oklahoma State Election Board website.

For more information, contact your County Election Board.
