DxDT Friday!

Ponca City Now - June 23, 2015 1:00 pm

DxDT — or Down by Downtown — will start at 6 p.m. Friday between Fifth and Sixth Streets on Grand Avenue. The street will be filled with food vendors, bands and fun!

DxDT is a project of the Ponca City Arts and Humanities Council and Ponca City Main Street.

Bands scheduled to appear include The Carlton 5, a classic and jazz saxophonist; the Aaron Pierce band, with a spirit of blues to raw sounds and lyrical content of the ’70s folk rock, and the Slap Daddy Band, which will turn back the times to when a needly hit the vinyl with a blend of blues, rock and harmonies.

The music is free, but the food and drinks are not. Each food vendor sets their own prices.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and stake a claim on the library lawn for the music. In the event of rain, the entertainment will move to The Poncan Theatre.
