Double Fatality Crash Occurred on 1-35 in Noble County on Saturday

A double fatality accident occurred at approximately 5:33 pm on Saturday on Interstate 35 northbound at mile marker 205, approximately 5.5 miles east of Billings in Noble County.

A 2002 Ford F150 pickup, driver under investigation, was traveling northbound on I-35 when driver lost control departing the roadway to the right, overturning approximately 3 times coming to rest on it’s wheels facing east. The driver and passenger, under investigation, were ejected from the vehicle.

Both vehicle occupants were transported by Alpha and Omega Mortuary Service to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City.

Seatbelts were equipped but not in use at the time of the accident.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Aaron Crompton #851 of the Kay/Noble County Detachment of Troop K. Assisted by Trooper Tyler Langston #609 of the Kay/Noble County Detachment of Troop K, Tonkawa Fire and EMS, Billings Fire Department, and Oklahoma State Medical Examiner Investigator Devin Turner.
