Donohoe tops 1,500 career points

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – Liz Donohoe had 15 points and a season-high 10 rebounds and all five starters scored in double figures as No. 21 Oklahoma State women beat Kansas State 69-47 on Wednesday night.

Brittney Martin added 14 points, LaShawn Jones scored 12, Roshunda Johnson had 11 and Brittany Atkins 10 for Oklahoma State (12-3, 2-2 Big 12), which shot a season-high 53.3 percent (8 of 15) from 3-point range.

Donohoe scored six points during a 12-2 run to open the game and the Cowgirls scored the final 12 points of the first half to take a 34-13 lead.

Oklahoma State led by as many as 29 in the second half.

Kindred Wesemann scored 16 and Breanna Lewis had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Kansas State (11-4, 1-3), which made just 6 of 29 field goals, including 1 of 9 from 3-point range, in the first half.

Donohoe now has 1,507 career points.
