Discussion set on oil, gas exploration

The latest meeting in a community series intended to explain the science behind oil and gas exploration and production is scheduled next week.

The Science Café Oklahoma State University event is set for Nov. 20 at the Stillwater Public Library. Experts will be in attendance to take questions from the public.

The presentation will also feature reports and discussion on related community issues, laws and regulations and the industry’s economic impact.

Science Café OSU community series sponsors include the OSU Library, Stillwater Public Library, the OSU Chapter of Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society and the office of the OSU Vice President for Research.

All events are free and open to the public.
