Demand increases for ‘Back the Blue’ stickers

Support for the blue continues! More than 5,000 more "Back the Blue" stickers will be made Friday at Legacy Signs.

Casey McClaskey of Legacy Signs has seen an overwhelming response to the "Back the Blue" stickers, so much so that what began as support for local law enforcement has gone far beyond the borders of Oklahoma, he said.

“My employees stayed late last night to try to get a jump start on today”, McClaskey said.

McClaskey has had so many people asking if they could donate money since he is giving the stickers away.

“We’ve set out a water jug at the shop and will be donating all the funds we raise to the Officer Down Foundation”, he said. “As of Tuesday, we have had people mailing in self-addressed and stamped envelopes from all over Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri wanting the stickers.”
