Deadly Police Shooting In Murray County Leaves Officer Injured, Suspect Dead

MURRAY COUNTY, Oklahoma – News 9

An officer is in the hospital and a suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Davis, Oklahoma.

According to police, it started with a disturbance call around 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators say the suspect took the officer’s gun during a struggle and fired two shots.

The officer was taken to the hospital to be checked out following the shooting.

The suspect has not yet been identified.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has taken over the investigation as of Thursday morning.
