Deadly collision at turnpike toll plaza

A fatal collision occurred about 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the US 412 and US 177 Toll Plaza on the Cimarron Turnpike in Noble County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a 2005 Freightliner Semi and a 2016 BMW motorcycle were both eastbound and stopped in the coin lane at the plaza. The semi, driven by Robert Jacka, 63, of Quinter, Kansas, backed up because he was in the wrong lane and struck the motorcycle.

The motorcycle was driven by Otto Ising, 57, of Bellavista, Arkansas. He was not injured, but his passenger, Saundra Gale Linson, 70, of Bellavista, died at the scene due to massive injuries.
