Cub Club leader Deb Woodruff and Cubbies Cade Townley and Jaxon Hager are pictured here with their stuffed animal donations and Patrolmen Myatt and Gray.

The Ponca City Noon Lions Cubbies collected new stuffed animals to donate to local law enforcement. The stuffies are for officers to have them on hand to give to children that have been traumatized.

Thursday afternoon Cubbies Cade Townley and Jaxon Hager, along with the Cub Club leader Deb Woodruff, dropped off their donation to the Ponca City Police Department.

The Lions Club International celebrated Children’s Dignity Week Aug. 30-Sept. 5. They encouraged clubs around the world to come up with projects that would help the most vulnerable members of our society; children. The local cubbies began their collection and gathered more than 200 stuffed animals.
