One-sided Bedlam dominance continued on Sunday afternoon when the Oklahoma State Cowboys knocked off the Oklahoma Sooners for the 10th straight time on the McCasland Field House mats.

OSU dominated several matches en route to the 23-9 win.

The Cowboys (4-1 overall, 1-0 in Big 12) got a great start as they usually do from 125-pounder Nick Piccinnini. He is the No. 4 ranked wrestler at the weight class and he dominated OU’s Christian Moody for the 14-2 major decision.

OSU’s Reece Witcraft engineered the only upset of the day when he beat No. 18 Anthony Madrigal at 133. Witcraft got a takedown with just seconds to go to earn the 6-5 win.

Boo Lewallen has started the season on fire for the Cowboys and he continued that with a major decision win over Jacob Butler. Lewallen started the match off with a 6-point flurry and extended that to a 12-4 win.

The marquee match on paper was at 197 pounds where No. 5 Dakota Geer from OSU wrestled No. 9 Jake Woodey. The match lived up to the hype with Geer sneaking out with a 4-2 decision.

OU (1-2, 0-1) got wins from No. 4 Dom Demas at 141 pounds, No. 17 Justin Thomas at 157 and Anthony Mantanona at 174.
