OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has learned that Jess Correctional Center walkaway Mark Riffey has been arrested by Spiro police.

Police took Riffey into custody after receiving a call from a member of the public about a man matching his description walking through a parking lot.

Riffey was arrested without incident, and will be booked at LeFlore County jail.

He walked away May 29 from Jess Dunn Correctional Center, a minimum security prison for men in Taft.

His brother-in-law and wife were arrested last Friday in connection with his escape.
