The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is now investigating the death of Michael Beach as a homicide.

The 59-year-old was found dead in Cordell Monday. Police found him inside his home when they made a welfare check at the request of a friend.

The medical examiner’s office found multiple gunshot wounds on Beach’s body.

Investigators are still searching for Beach’s missing 2002 white Chevrolet Tahoe with the license plate 412 FPS. It is now considered stolen.

Agents also want to speak with 44-year-old Kathryn Lynn Hicks. She was Beach’s friend and might have information that can help with the investigation.
