The development company that said it planned to bring the Bell’s Amusement Park back to Green Country has decided to sell the property.
Santa Cruz Seaside Company has announced that it will sell its 102-acre property in east Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
The site, located on the south side of Kenosha Street just east of the Creek Turnpike, was purchased by the company in August 2021 with the intent of developing the land, including considering a new version of Bell’s Amusement Park.

In an email to City Manager Michael Spurgeon, Karl J. Rice, President and CEO of Santa Cruz Seaside Company, said that while the property has attractive development potential, the company has been focused on other projects and has decided to sell the property.
Rice also said Broken Arrow is a desirable location for entertainment-focused development.
The property will soon be listed for sale with a local realtor. Santa Cruz Seaside Company never submitted an application for any kind of development on the property, and during a Zoom meeting with city leaders on February 15, 2022, Mr. Rice said the company would take its time to conduct research and look at all options to help determine what it would do with the land.
