Collision damages vehicles, fire hydrant

A commercial truck and a minivan collided during the lunch hour Monday on Hartford Avenue west of Monument Road. Ponca City Water Department was called out to the scene to shut off a fire hydrant that was damaged in the collision. Both vehicles were towed from the scene on rollback trucks as Ponca City Police directed traffic. Both drivers, although shaken, were uninjured.
