City to Observe Martin Luther King Day Holiday

The City of Ponca City will observe Monday, January 18, as a City Holiday:

• Residential Refuse WILL NOT BE PICKED UP Monday, January 18, and RESUME Tuesday, January 19. Also, the Ponca City Landfill will CLOSE Monday, January 18, and will REOPEN Tuesday, January 19. Contact Tim McNew, Solid Waste Superintendent, 767-0411

• Ponca City Library will CLOSE Monday, January 18, and REOPEN Tuesday, January 19. Contact Holly LaBossiere, Library Director, at 767-0345

• Marland’s Grand Home will CLOSE Sunday, January 17, and REOPEN Tuesday, January 19, and, the Marland Mansion and Estate will CLOSE Sunday, January 17, and REOPEN Tuesday, January 19. Contact David Keathly, Marland Estate Manager, at 767-0420.

• Lew Wentz Golf Course will be OPEN Monday, January 18. Contact Rod Alexander, Golf Pro, at 767-0433

• Ponca City Senior Center will CLOSE Monday, January 18, and REOPEN Tuesday, January 19. Contact Marie Trenary, Senior Specialist, 763-8051

• Ponca City RecPlex will be OPEN Monday, January 18. Contact Eric Newell, Parks and Recreation Director, 767-0430
