City Sets Up New Christmas Tree

Ponca City Now - November 18, 2013 9:15 am

The city has bought a new artificial tree and has begun setting it up on City Hall’s plaza.

They are doing away with the decorated tree next to city hall and the tree at Third and Grand.

The new tree is 53 feet tall with a five foot tree topper.

It’s decorated with 24,000 LED lights and will sit on top of the fountain.

The city plans to have a lighting ceremony that doesn’t conflict with the Festival Of Angels lighting ceremony.
