City of Ponca City launches new web site

It’s been months in the works, and today the City of Ponca City launches its updated web site at http://www.poncacityok.gov/.

The new site was designed primarily by Dana Curtis Bright, the city’s marketing director, with input from each department on its specific needs.

The web site has an updated appearance and features many local photographs on a rotating, seasonal basis. Some parts of the site, such as the Wentz Golf Course section, also feature drone videos.

Visitors will find sections on city government; the various city departments; doing business in Ponca City; living and visiting Ponca City, and a search feature.

Many of the divisions include buttons linking to specific areas with detailed information. Calendars are also included of upcoming events or meetings. Department pages also include a sidebar of Frequently Asked Questions for quick answers to the most common requests. In addition, each department page gives contact information for the department’s director and the department’s address.
