City of Altus Offers Chance to Own a Police Car for a Bargain

KOKH - January 29, 2024 5:50 am

Now is your chance to own a police car.

The City of Altus is auctioning off three police cruisers online.

All three are 2015 Ford Taurus police cars. The cars have less than 100,000 miles on them, are all-wheel drive, and have 6-speed automatic transmissions.

Bids for each vehicle start at $1,150.

The online auction is open to the public and will end on Friday, February 16th. Vehicles must be picked up by March 1.

The vehicles are being sold as-is. In-person inspections are available.

More and more police and sheriff’s offices are using online auctions as a way to sell vehicles.

All proceeds from the auction will go back to the City of Altus.
