Ponca City’s Board of Commissioners met in work session Monday to discuss the city’s plans for a “fiber to the premise” project, which would make high-speed internet over fiber available to subscribers.

Technology Services Director Craige Baird gave a presentation on the technology and discussed the response so far to a survey the city included in February utility bills. The survey, along with additional information about the project, is available online at http://poncacityok.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=220.
