Church host lunch for families without power

Ponca City Now - July 15, 2014 11:41 am

More than the courthouse in Newkirk is out of power today because of yesterday evenings storms. Many Newkirk families and business are without power. But one business with power is hosting a free lunch. The First Baptist Church of Newkirk, right across the street from the new jail on Highway 77 is open now until 1:30.

Crews are working to get power restored and haven’t said when it will be back on.
