Choctaw High School Goes On Lockdown After People With A Gun Show Up On Campus

CHOCTAW, Okla. – 

Choctaw High School was briefly placed on lockdown today after a man and a 17-year-old girl showed up on campus with a gun.

According to Choctaw police, the man and teen showed up to a practice field and asked to see a particular person participating in the practice.

Staff at the school called 911 and law enforcement stopped the vehicle the two were driving a couple miles from the school.

The man was arrested on complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon on school grounds.

The teen was found with a firearm in her waistband. She will face complaints in the Juvenile Court of Oklahoma County.

Police are expected to release more information Tuesday evening.
